IIFA- International Indian Film Academy Hits & Misses

IIFA awards were held on 25 June in Toronto. Obviously, there were some hits and misses..to me there weren't a lot of them that i could see and say 'wow that's red carpet!' disappointing! most them were just average.. not great not bad!

anyway here are the Best dressed in my opinion

Hillary Swank

Neha Dhupia

 She was my absolute favorite dressed. she looks effortless from head to toe.

Bipasha Basu

 she looks crisp and chic. truly less is more!

Anushka Sharma

traditional, simple and pretty.. she looks adorable in that saree.

Amisha Patel

 she was NOT my favorite among the crowd.. A major reason being her strange makeup!
However, she is in my best dressed list, reason being- her dress in a toned down yellow hue with the colourful clutch and soft pink shoes is stunning... i love the styling.

not to mention, Her dress and Bipasha Basu's dress is IDENTICAL! just a different hue :/

Misses
now there were simply too many disasters at IIFA.. won't really mention all, here are some!

Sonakshi Sinha

 a lot of people may like her dressing.. but this one to me was so flop... for some reason the dress with hair and the flower is totally not working!

Shilpa Shetty

 To be honest her dress is not such a flop.. and in general i love pink and black... BUT this satin pink bag looks cheap.. the clutch makes the look total flop!

Aarti Chabbaria

again her saree is Beautiful.. but now that she is wearing such a bright colour.. the matchy matchy makeup is just too much.! makes her look terrible.. i wish she toned it down!

Hanami Fashion Benefit Showcase

My classmates and myself organised a fashion show on behalf of Raffles Design Institute.

The show was titled as Hanami Fashion Benefit Showcase (symbolizing of the viewing of blooming Cherry Blossoms during Hanami season) for Budding Artist Fund

This show featured three local designers of Singapore:

Classic Heels

I am a total Shoe maniac. Truly I am, if i were to show you guys the number of shoes I buy, my blog would NEVER fail to be updated.. haha.. I have a serious problem, and I know I am not alone ;)

being said that, unbelievably I did not have even one decent pair of plain staple black heels..  it is A MUST in every girls wardrobe. I was just looking around some shops with a friend and we went in Charles and Keith.  Charles Keith is a quite affordable and decent quality brand for shoes and handbags..

I saw this pair and tried it and i just love the way they fit. The best part is they are not typical pumps, but not jazzed up too.. Perfect.. Exactly what I was looking for at a good price!

Rose gold Watch

I have been waiting to buy a watch since quite sometime. I was keen on buying Michael Kors Gold watch that is all over the place these days. Anyway I doubt it is readily available in Singapore. So I saw an exact same watch in GUESS and almost the same price too.. When I was browsing through I saw the same thing in Rose gold.. and knew I had to have it. My uncle bought it for me.

It is more versatile than silver or gold and its in my new obsession list too ;)

it truly is the prettiest thing ever.. and Rose gold definitely gives your outfit that amped up effect :D Totally worth it!

Nail Paint Spree

As the title suggests.. Lately I have been on a buying nail paint spree. My exams and final submissions are going on and one tends to feel stressed.. And the indulgence in small things is what keeps us going ;)
Anyway I bought quite a few nail paints and wanted to share it with you guys..

Now this blog is not dedicated to beauty product rave or reviews.. i just post whatever I feel like. I do it for the fun of it..
So I bought lot of OPI nail paints.. I am not new on their shatter paints. I love them and I just keep buying them as they come.

The green glittery one, Simply Smashing is brilliant.. I AM IN LOVE with it..  here is a swatch

and I got mini bottles from the Pirates of the Caribbean collection.. I am someone who gets bored of nail paints too quickly, so thought of buying mini sizes.. :P they are super mini compared to full sized haha

and trust me they are cutest and have the cutest packaging too.. Loving it :)

And the pink one is my favourite.. and its called Sparrow me the Drama.. haha how cool!

And I got China Glaze nail paints too and again one of them is a shatter.. a blue minty shatter..

I am loving it all..:D Stress busters ;)
